I popped in to Blue Attic yesterday to check out how this new local boutique is going. Its great! Chock-full of local creative types\’ wares, including clothes, art, bags, hats etc, all made here in Melbourne by local artesans. And you can enjoy a cup of organic free trade coffee and munch on some yummy bikkies! Bliss. What a way to shop!

The owner makes the coolest dresses I\’ve seen in a long time - kind of rocker-meets-miss-muffett, I guess that sounds a bit mad, but I fell in love with them. I even took a pic, coz I wanted to email them to a friend of mine who I know is gonna love them as much as I did! And there\’s a guy who screen-prints cool kids tshirts with Dillon, Lennon, Che etc. And a girl who custom-makes bras! Sooo fab! Its such a fun little place. And of course there\’s *ahem* some gorgeous jewellery in there

I love how much the top end of Lygon Street is coming along as a cool area! YAY! I have more places to review in this area, will report back soon
